个人简介

现任成都信息工程大学副校长兼英国威廉希尔唯一官网院长,四川省数值天气计算工程技术研究中心主任,四川省图形图像与空间信息2011协同创新中心执行副主任,成都信息工程大学图像与视觉国际联合研究中心中方主任。主要研究方向为:图像分析与计算成像,高性能与并行分布式计算,智慧气象与数值天气计算。目前是四川省青城计划入选者,四川省青年科技奖获得者,四川省杰出学术技术带头人基金获得者,四川省学术技术带头人后备人选,四川省计算机学会副理事长,ACM中国计算机教育分会常务理事。

吴锡博士2012年获得信息与通信工程博士学位,由四川大学和美国范德比特大学(Vanderbilt University)联合培养,2008-2010在美国范德比特大学图像科学研究所(VUIIS, Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science, Vanderbilt University)从事弥散磁共振计算成像研究,2011-2012在英国牛津大学脑功能磁共振图像研究中心(FMRIB, Oxford Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain, University of Oxford)从事高维图像计算建模研究。吴锡博士于2006年和2003年硕士和本科分别毕业于电子科技大学和四川大学。

吴锡博士承担和参与包括国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金面上在内科研项目20余项,累计科研经费1000余万元,发表学术论文100余篇,其中SCI检索50余篇,授权发明专利11项。

吴锡博士积极从事工程教育国际化,是国际CDIO工程教育组织唯一来自亚洲的议会委员,是第十一届CDIO国际会议(CDIO2015)的本地主席。

1. 国家自然科学基金面上项目,“面向大气数据的物理引导深度学习研究”,(42075142)。

2. 国家重点研发计划“全球变化与应对”重点专项,“融合大数据和人工智能技术创新模式发展方法研究”,课题负责人。

3. 智慧气象四川省青年科技创新研究团队,“基于人工智能的精准气象数值预报系统研发”,团队负责人。

4. 国家重点研发计划“重大自然灾害监测预警与防范”重点专项,“基于非结构网格的天气-气候一体化模式动力框架研发”(2017YFC1502200),子课题负责人。

5. 四川省杰出青年学术技术带头人基金,“白质通路功能信息计算成像研究”(2017JQ0030)。
